With the ever increasing influence of social media in our lives, the ability to compare ourselves with others, be them celebrities or social media ‘friends’, can create a world where perfectly enhanced images set the standard against our own unedited self image.

Jen Gunn's workshop focuses on Body Dysmorphic Disorder, where you will gain a comprehensive understanding of BDD, its prevalence, diagnostic criteria, and the impact it can have on ours and our client’s lives.

Main Objectives:

* Increase awareness and knowledge about Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).

* Explore the psychological and emotional aspects of body image issues.

* Discuss effective assessment and diagnostic tools for identifying BDD.

* Introduce evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities.
