We organise professional events covering many different aspects of counselling and psychotherapy, providing high quality continuing professional development (CPD) and networking opportunities. Events take place all over the UK and online.

We're committed to promoting ethical practice by developing evidence-based training standards and providing resources to support our members' ethical practice. Here's where you'll find the Ethical Framework and the Good Practice in Action resources.

Our CPD hub aims to provide all the resources you need to continue to develop your competence and knowledge. This is a member only service, available on an additional subscription.

We publish nine journals for counsellors and psychotherapists in general and for special interest groups, including our award-winning Therapy Today.

Research is vital for the counselling professions, helping to provide evidence for the range of issues where therapy can be effective. We produce many research resources to inform your practice, help you undertake research yourself or to update you on our research activities.

We've partnered with OpenLearn, a learning platform delivered by The Open University, to provide a selection of free business courses for our members.

We produce concise summaries of significant mental health policy changes that may affect your day-to-day work or the future of the professions.
