About Me and How I Work
In addition to my counselling, psychotherapy and supervision work, I am also a lecturer on counselling courses at a college, where I teach on integrative programmes covering the major theoretical models and skills.
I have written articles for the journal Therapy Today on our relationship with time and on beginner’s mind, along with articles which have appeared elsewhere. Also I run workshops on these and other themes.
Moreover, I have experience of living in other countries and have a keen interest in and appreciation of different cultures, and have travelled extensively. English is my first language, but I can also speak French and Turkish. Other interests include poetry, classical/world music, art and astronomy.

About Me and How I Work
As an integrative counsellor / psychotherapist, I see the client as a unique individual living within a wider context of community, society, culture and world. Counselling and psychotherapy provide opportunities for you to talk about issues of concern to you, explore your feelings, values and life choices, increase your awareness, and to expand your repertoire of ways of viewing and relating to yourself, others and the world.
Being integrative in outlook, I draw from various approaches in counselling and psychotherapy. Mindfulness is central to how I work – mindfulness is noticing, giving space for and being with whatever you are experiencing. In addition to dialogue, counselling and psychotherapy with me can also involve experiential work, role plays, guided visualisations and dreamwork. Sometimes I may suggest books for you to read. In addition to being a counsellor and psychotherapist, I also teach on a counselling course at a college.

About Me and How I Work
As an integrative counsellor / psychotherapist and supervisor, I see the client and the supervisee as a unique individual living within a wider context of community, society, culture and world. Being integrative in outlook, I draw from various approaches in counselling and psychotherapy. Mindfulness is central to how I work – mindfulness is noticing, giving space for and being with whatever you are experiencing. As a supervisor. I balance support and challenge, and I work with supervisees of different theoretical orientations and offer the opportunity for supervisees to look at their work and their experience from different perspectives and to be creative.
In addition to being a counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor, I also teach on counselling course at a college. I have written articles for the journal Therapy Today on our relationship with time and on beginner’s mind, along with articles which have appeared elsewhere.
