About me and my therapy practice
Many of the people I see deal with the effects of childhood trauma. The traumas might have been emotional, physical, mental, sexual, or spiritual, and any of these aspects of self may be affected.
Having worked with such a diversity of people over a long time, I work in a client-centred way, incorporating integrative approaches, depending on the most appropriate.
As a supervisor, I provide the trainee counsellor room to work with the client, helping them to understand the client from different perspectives; I keep monitoring the counsellor’s work and exploring the working alliance.
I am a friendly and committed person with experience in dealing with many people in stressful situations. I have no prejudice against any race, culture, disability, or religion.
