About me and my therapy practice
It can be difficult to know where to turn when you're struggling. I offer a calm, supportive, safe, non judgemental and confidential space to help you or your child explore feelings, thoughts and difficulties with someone independent, trusted, and experienced.
I am passionate about helping people improve their mental health and supporting them in understanding their emotions and ultimately cope better with challenges they face in life.
Through talking, exploration, gentle challenge and use of creative techniques, I work with people to enable positive change and growth in their lives, improving health, functioning, relationships and achieve an overall sense of balance and wellbeing.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor and a member of the BACP and have been in counselling practice since 2014.
I have worked in corporate settings, domestic abuse services, the charity sector and school settings as well as private practice
I work with individual adults and children and young people.
Currently I also work for a counselling charity managing their children's services in schools and training qualified counsellors to work with children and young people.
I have supported people with a wide range of issues, and welcome enquiries to see if I can be the right support for you.
My first session
When you first make contact we can arrange to speak initially about what I offer, including how sessions work, what you may expect and what you would like from counselling. I offer a free 15 minute phone call/video call from which you can decide if what I provide is what you are looking for.
If you wish to book an initial full session (face to face or online), we can look at what your needs are and what the focus of our sessions should be. We can have as many ongoing sessions as we agree appropriate and beneficial for you.
