About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified Child and Adolescent counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I also work with families and adults. I have trained and worked with Relate and currently work with a Charity alongside my private practice.
My training was in psychodynamic however by continued professional development, I have developed into an Integrative counsellor. This means, I am able to adapt my counselling style to suit many different needs.
Through my experience I have worked with a range of issues. Including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image, eating disorders, bereavement, gender issues, ADHD, ASD, attachment issues, self harm, neglect, domestic abuse - physical, emotional and sexual.
Finding the right counsellor can seem like a daunting task. I am happy for you to give me a call and we can together find out if I'm the counsellor for you.
I am very passionate about my role as a counsellor. We all need to be heard and listened to. It is ok, not to be ok. Sometimes we need a little help.
