About me and my therapy practice
On-line CBT Counselling Specialist and Therapeutic Coach Practitioner - Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
For 15 years I have been in private practice in Harley Street, London W1, Marlow in Bucks and Hove in Sussex. For the last 3 years most of my consultations are online.
I have been offering video consultations using the video camera in your smartphone, tablet or computer for many years. This has the advantage of being conducted at your convenience from your own front room. You can choose the platform that you are most familiar with e.g. Facetime, WhatsApp, Skype or Zoom.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Therapeutic Coaching are proven to make a big difference to anxiety and depression and they are also approved by the NHS.
Right now you might be at your wits end and feeling quite apprehensive about seeing a counsellor. You may feel stressed and unsure about how best to address your issues of concern. I work with your needs as an individual, in a way that will best suit you.
I work within a person-centred framework which incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy, which aims to identify and alter unhelpful thought patterns.
Most common areas that I work with are: Generalised anxiety disorder; Anxiety; Social anxiety; Health anxiety; Depression and low mood; Feeling sad; Low self-esteem; Panic attacks; Relationship difficulties; Social media anxiety; Stress at work; Lack of motivation; Low self-confidence; Family concerns including children and elderly parents; Midlife crisis; Loss of a loved one by death or in a relationship; Later life/retirement concerns; Eating disorders; LGBTQIA issues.
