About me and my therapy practice
Hello My name is Gill
I provide High quality Counselling for Neurodiverse Couples and Individuals and for any neurotype including if you're Neurotypical too! Please refer to my website for more information regarding Neurodiverse Counselling and different fees for Couples Counselling. www.blossomhousecounselling.co.uk
As a Neurodivergent person and professional myself, I aim to provide a safe, inclusive, compassionate and non judgemental relationship with all my clients, irrespective of their age, gender, neuro type, sexual orientation, race, ability or religion/faith.
Although I am Eating Disorder trained and have completed both the Practitioner skills for Eating Disorders training and Nutritional Interventions for ED (National Centre For Eating Disorders NCFED), I no longer accept referrals now specifically for Eating Disorders.
Practice description
I am currently working Face to Face and On Line from my practice near Daventry Northamptonshire. I see Adults locally and from all over the UK.
My first session
I offer a FREE 30 minute Consultation via phone or zoom to establish contact and identify goals.
Before I see you for your first session, I send you a Counselling Contract and Contact Information form.
During our first session together, I will ask you about the goals you have for counselling and what difference you hope counselling would make to your relationship or current needs and situation.
I often use PowerPoint slides as a visual tool to help clients' understanding of what to expect from the counselling process and to help them form their therapeutic goals.
We would spend some time talking about what has brought you into counselling at this point in your life, and establish together a schedule of sessions to suit your needs and budget.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello! My name is Gill and I specialise in working with Individuals and couples with Neurodiversity and I also work with adults with who have experienced trauma and those with Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders.
I have lived experience of Neurodiversity and aim to provide a warm, safe, inclusive, and non judgemental relationship in my work with all clients irrespective of their gender, neuro type, sexual orientation, race, ability or religion/faith.
I work in an Integrative way using a range of counselling modalities that fit each individual and unique person.
I work on an open ended basis for an agreed period of time and offer a free no obligation 30 minute consultation for us to meet and for you to tell me more about your needs and goals.
Practice description
Hello. I work with Individuals and couples with a here and now relational emphasis of the Gestalt approach but also work in an integrative way to tailor my approach to best fit different client's and unique personalities- such CBT, Attachment model, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma work etc.
I also work with clients who are neurodivergent and couples where one partner is Neurotypical and the other is Neurodivergent.
I work to be a safe and effective bridge so that couples can identify their strengths, as well as to understand the unhelpful patterns and cycles that can occur in relationships.
We work together as a team towards specific goals, to identify what can and can't be changed for growth and for flourishing.
My first session
I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation so that we can meet each other either via phone or zoom and we can both identify goals for counselling and if you wish to proceed with Counselling, my first session involves getting to know you as a person, taking some more information and carrying out an Assessment of your needs.
I ask clients to fill in an Attachment Questionnaire and to draw their family Genogram- a sort of relational family tree. We then discuss goals and a time frame for Therapy.
