Individual Counselling and Pschotherapy
Every experience you have had to date gives context and has helped you write your life story.
From this, you have learnt values and beliefs which inform how you feel about yourself, your relationships, and how you relate in the world.
Hope of change.... can you imagine being free to choose your own life story today? Through understanding why you have the coping strategies, relationships, symptoms and stressors you do, this is possible. You can gain a new tool box to help you deal with life. A life where you feel equal to others and do not fear failure or feel shame. Where you can be vulnerable, courageous, brave and 'just' be you.
Whether face to face, online or via the telephone, this is what our work together offers you.
Marriage, Couple Counselling and Two’s Psychotherapy
The reason you are seeking counselling generally falls into 3 categories -
1. Grow, develop and change your relationship.
2. Make a decision about your relationship.
3. Separate amicably.
(Please note I work with options 1 and 2 only).
Practice description
Relationship Counselling
In relationship counselling we look at how your learnt behaviour, and wounding to date, is interfering with connection in your relationship(s). This ‘interference’ can show up in the shape of communication issues, squabbling, affairs / infidelity, stuckness, resentment, loneliness, etc.
Every relationship is co-created and each of you brings your ‘back story’ of learnt behaviours and how you navigate differences which also includes trauma reactions, i.e., fight (hostility), flight (flee), freeze (withdraw), friend/flop (compliance) or fawn (appease). All of these patterns are looked at.
If you want support, do reach out and you do not have to live in this disconnected way with your learnt behaviour playing havoc on your intimate relationships.
(you can click on the website link on this page to find out more about my specific areas of work).
If this sounds like the therapy you are after, whether as an individual, couple, or two, do get in contact so I can support you on your journey.

Online and Telephone Counselling since 2014 with vast experience in this way of working (originally Skype, now Zoom).
Counselling Students contact me if you are seeking therapy alongside your course on your journey of self-discovery (I am integrative and my original training was Petruska Clarkson 5 Relational Modality).
