About me and my therapy practice

I am a highly qualified and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) who can provide you with a full biological explanation of not just the physiological symptoms of anxiety and OCD but also the explanation of unwanted intrusive thoughts and repeated adaptive behavioural patterns. Immediate coping strategies would then be put in place with the provision of an intervention plan to address any area of your life you feel needs to change. A safe psychological environment is present in order to explore any underlying past and present issues interfering with life quality.

Practice description

I can provide consultation online, by phone, at your home, in a public place or from a location in Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth.

My first session

I have experience with treating a wide range of psychological conditions and her qualifications mean I am suitably qualified to address many different types of issues. My techniques have been proven to be effective, allowing the client to overcome their psychological concerns, relieve stress and anxiety, while allowing for a life of greater fulfilment. A full assessment is initially carried out including medical history and details of any medication currently taken. A diagnosis will be offered along with an appropriate treatment intervention plan. In the event of severe anxiety and panic attacks, the first aim will be to alleviate the symptoms before carrying out a deeper exploration of why the anxiety is occurring. The anxiety disorder may be happening for a number of reasons including negative schemas (a previous collection of negative thoughts, feelings and experiences) relating to past events or the subconscious.
