Practice description
I'm your not-so-typical therapist with a toolbox full of construction metaphors and a knack for finding humour in even the most serious situations. With 15 years of experience under my tool belt, I've hammered away at mental health, anxiety, substance misuse, illnesses, and supported more carers than a circus tent.
Now, why am I different, you ask? Well, while most therapists were reading Freud, I was reading blueprints. My journey began in construction, where I learned to build things from scratch, including my robust and challenging personality that still shines through in my counselling style.
You won't catch me asking, "Tell me how it makes you feel?" Instead, I'll hit you with, "How can I help?" Because let's face it, therapy isn't about dissecting emotions like a frog in biology class; it's about moving forward, even if it means wearing a hard hat.
Therapy isn't a sign of weakness; it's a sign of strength, like holding up a skyscraper in a windstorm. So, if you're brave enough to tackle the issues head-on, I'm your guy. Together, we'll navigate the construction site of your mind, dodging emotional debris and laying down some sturdy foundations.
And hey, who says therapy has to be a snooze fest? I've been known to sprinkle humour into our sessions like confetti at a celebration. Because sometimes, laughter is the best medicine, especially when life feels like a never-ending DIY project.
So, if you're ready to trade your blueprints for breakthroughs, give me a shout. Remember, I've got you—just like a trusty wrench in a toolbox. Let's build something amazing together, one joke at a time."
