About me and my therapy practice

The feedback I get from my clients is that I am warm and compassionate, and not afraid to challenge them at times. I really care about delivering high quality therapy.

I am very experienced, having qualified as an integrative therapist over 15 years ago, then completed further training in couples therapy and psychosexual therapy. I lead the team of therapists at a large London practice.

My approach integrates humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural theories, but mostly I'm focused on really listening to you. My clients feel understood in a way that is rare and transformative.

I will help you to get in touch with your thoughts and feelings, to gain clarity and to understand where you might be getting in your own way. On ending therapy, clients typically say that they feel lighter, more in control and better able to cope with what life throws at them.

I work with all issues from anxiety and bereavement to trauma and relationship issues. I have particular experience in working with gender dysphoria, sexual problems, childhood abuse, sexual and relationship diversity, self-harm and family dynamics.

Practice description

I offer weekly sessions of 50 minutes, held at the same time each week. I work in an open-ended way, which means your weekly appointment is held for you for as long as you want to continue with therapy and you are free to end at any time. My clients tend to stay in therapy with me long-term, but I am also happy to see clients on a short-term basis.

My first session

At the end of their first session, clients often tell me they are surprised how easy they found it to open up. My focus in that first session is on putting you at ease and helping you decide whether you want to continue with me. I'm proud to say that the vast majority of clients who come to me for a first session choose to continue with me.

I won't push you to talk about anything you don't want to talk about. And don't worry if you don't know where to start in that first session - I will help you.

My fees for the initial consultation are £90 (online) or £120 (in person) for individuals and £130 (online) or £180 (in person) for couples.

For individuals, fees for ongoing sessions are decided at the initial consultation. They range from £90 to £130 (online) or £120 to £160 (in person), based on your ability to pay. For couples, the fees for ongoing sessions are £130 (online) or £180 (in person).
