About me and my therapy practice
Experienced Senior Accredited Counsellor, with 20 years of practise. Now retired from working part time at large public school giving me more time for my Private Practice. I aim to help clients of all ages work towards finding solutions in a caring and trusting space.
I have been told that I am very easy to talk to, and many previous clients have told me that they have been able to make significant changes resulting in a much improved quality of life.
My aim is to help my clients understand how, what is troubling them, can be addressed and changes made which will help to overcome the problem. Insight can motivate change.
Practice description
Sessions normally take place in my own private counselling room, situated in my home. I also do online sessions via Zoom
Plenty of free parking directly outside.
Usually we agree to 6 sessions (after the initial no commitment session) however these can be shorter or longer, depending on the need.
My first session
I see a new client on a one off no commitment session of 45 minutes. Cost £50:00 This allows you to decide if you would like to work with me, and allows me to ensure that I can work safely with you.
In that session you give me a very brief overview of your situation and I explain how counselling may work for you along with my contract and GDPR policy.
You then go away and decide if you wish to continue.

My first session
I offer a free 'one off' meet up, to allow us both to get to know a little about each other and for you to ask me any questions, about supervision, before we decide if we want to continue.
