About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative counsellor who works from a person-centred perspective.
I have more than 10 years counselling experience and have worked successfully with clients both 1:1 and in group settings in NHS funded eating disorder services. I have also supported clients in bereavement, loss and palliative care settings and more generally in private practice.
Practice description
My aim is to allow clients time and space to explore their difficulties and in the process, help them gain perspective and awareness of their problems. This awareness allows for the possibility of supporting oneself and exploring changes you would like to make.
I work with clients holistically in a non-judgmental, calm and compassionate manner. I help clients examine the impact of self-criticism and self-judgment on their wellbeing and mental health distress. My approach is based on the belief that security and trust built up within a safe counselling relationship is instrumental in facilitating change.

I offer an initial 30 minutes session free of charge to see if we can work together.
