Availability

I currently have availability, Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6.30pm and Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 8pm. Saturdays, I have availability from 9am to 12pm.

About me and my therapy practice

Counsellors play such a vital role in supporting their clients through challenging times, promoting mental health and personal growth, and equipping clients with the tools they need to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.

As a client, especially if you're new to counselling, finding the right counsellor you can trust enough to share your 'story' with can feel overwhelming and daunting...I remember that feeling well, so I understand! 

A little bit about me... I qualified as an integrative, psychotherapeutic counsellor in 2014. Over this time, I have developed a wealth of knowledge, skills and just as importantly  passion for offering help, support and encouragement to my clients. This has enabled me to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to express their feelings, thoughts and behaviours. 

My aim, when working alongside my client is to:

  • Offer empathy, acceptance and validation to help clients process emotions, understand behaviours and help them develop effective strategies to tackle personal and interpersonal issues.
  • Help enhance communication and understanding in all types of relationships.
  • Promote self-awareness and encourage insight into one's pattern of behaviour thus facilitating positive change.
  • Address a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship problems, grief and addiction.

I ensure all sessions are confidential and adhere to the BACP ethical guidelines and professional standards, ensuring clients' rights and well-being are always prioritised.

Practice description

At some point in our life, many of experience feeling low, lost and in need of support, understanding and guidance. Various challenges can profoundly impact our daily existence, leading to emotions of helplessness, despair and stuckness.

Sometimes, all you need is a safe space, time to talk and be heard with compassion and without judgement. To feel validated and understood can give you the hope and belief that you can move forwards towards a happier more fulfilled and peaceful future.

I provide a safe, empathic and non-judgmental space to allow the process of effective therapy to unfold. My aim is to be alongside and help my clients work through and overcome issues, worries and limiting behaviour, and to support them throughout their process of healing and moving forwards.

With extensive experience as a well-being life coach, I specialise in guiding individuals  to identify and overcome limiting beliefs, outdated behaviours and negative patterns that hinder their progress. 

My expertise spans various areas, including weight management, health improvement, career advancement, relationship enhancement, and confidence building. Through tailored guidance, I empower clients to cultivate a proactive mindset, unlocking their full potential and facilitating the achievement of the life aspirations.
