About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Rowley Moore. I am a CBT/Person Centred Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. Up until March 2023 I worked for a charity providing a range of services to young people in Liverpool for 14 years. I have since fully transitioned into private practice.

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. I attend monthly counselling supervision and actively participate in Continuous Professional Development to ensure my practice is up to date.

Practice description

I offer face to face and online counselling working with a client cohort aged 14 upwards. Face to face work is carried out within the safe and supportive environment of my home office in Sandymoor Runcorn.

As a seasoned experienced counsellor understanding the magnitude of taking that first step to seek help, I provide a safe relational environment where a client can release at their own pace and level of willingness to speak. I will accompany my client on their journey providing understanding, support and appropriate challenge/guidance, to reach their desired goal(s).

My first session

I offer a free initial 30 minute telephone consultation to ensure we are compatible to work together.

If agreed, the initial session will be introductory in nature where I will go through the therapy contract, fully explain how I work and complete psychological questionnaires designed to measure levels of anxiety, well being, emotional distress, low mood, risk to self, depression, trauma, functioning, physical problems.
