About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, accredited Counsellor working in central Bristol. I offer a space and sensitive support for you to express your difficulties at your own pace. I work with what is important for you in the present and endeavor to support you to gain fresh perspective through reflecting on, and understanding, yourself and your present situation and experiences.
I have personally witnessed the transforming power that a deeper awareness of body and mind can have and I am passionate about facilitating others in this journey. I aim to facilitate an increased awareness of your personal resources and tools that you can use to overcome barriers and move forward in a way that is more rewarding to you.
I am experienced in supporting clients who are:
feeling low/depressed or anxious,
having difficulties in their relationships,
needing support to come to terms with painful or traumatic experiences,
feeling stuck and in need of support to move forward and make changes.

Practice description
I aim to work with clients in a way where they feel deeply understood and accepted and are able to develop deeper self-acceptance - something that I have found, through working with clients, is needed to make meaningful change.
My integrative approach enables me to adapt my practice to work with clients from a range of different backgrounds and cultures.
I work according to your individual needs and the theoretical models I use are Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.
My first session
This session will give us the opportunity to explore what you are looking for from counselling and how we might work together.
It will also offer us the opportunity to see whether we seem like a good fit. This may be clear at the end of the session or you may need some time to think about it after the session.
In the initial session I will also explain confidentiality within the counselling relationship.
