I am a British Psychoanalytic Council-accredited DIT (Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy) Practitioner and a BACP registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist (a graduate of Oxford University) with over ten years of combined experience working with clients in the NHS, third sector and Higher Education.

My approach will enable you to examine unresolved conflicts and symptoms that arise from past relationships and cause difficulty in your current experiences. We will identify and explore unhelpful patterns of relating and unconscious narratives to help you deepen your understanding of yourself and support you in building internal resources to deal with difficulties.

I operate from two practices in Sheffield (South Yorkshire) and Harlech (North Wales).  I offer face-to-face and remote sessions from my practice in Sheffield and remote sessions from my practice in Harlech.

Sessions last for 50 minutes at a charge of £55 for face-to-face, telephone or video.

Before commencing therapy I offer a 20-minute remote initial assessment (free of charge) to explore your needs.

I supervise counsellors in various NHS trusts across the UK, including Black Country Healthcare NHS FT, North East Lincs Talking Therapies, Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS FT Trust, Oxfordshire Health NHS FT Trust and Ealing Talking Therapies West London NHS Trust.

I am an Approved Therapist and Supervisor on the Leeds Beckett University Counselling Network and an Approved Supervisor for Counselling and Psychotherapy trainees at Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I also supervise counsellors in the Student Wellbeing team at Leeds Beckett University, Mental Health Practitioners at Northpoint Wellbeing, and trainee DIT therapists at Roehampton University and the Anna Freud Centre. Additionally, I facilitate reflective practice groups for third-year Clinical Psychology trainees at the University of Sheffield Clinical Psychology Unit.

I have experience using clinical-based applications such as PCMIS, CORE, EMIS and SystmOne and remote platforms to deliver supervision and reflective practice.

Before my current roles, I provided clinical supervision and staff counselling at Rampton Hospital, part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. In addition, I managed the Leeds IAPT Counselling Service and developed the Student Wellbeing Service at the University of Sheffield.
