Hi I have availability within my Sheffield Practice from Mondays - Fridays 8am - 4pm with an evening on Mondays until 8pm.

About me and my therapy practice

I work in a relational manner, to allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings,so you can gain a greater understanding of how you relate to self and other. I will create  an honest therapeutic relationship, where we will build trust and understanding. I believe that therapy needs to be a process which facilitates change within yourself. I have worked for over 10 years as a practitioner and until recently was Clinical Lead at Sheffield Mind and I am now taking my experience and knowledge into the private sector.

I have worked with all presentations difficulties and you will find me to be consistent , reliable and will always ensure you are at the centre of the therapy to achieve your goals. Whatever your needs, I will look to support you and be an empathic listener

I will be lead by you in terms of sessions required and process of the therapy you are the expert in your life, my role is to provide a safe and non judgmental experience for you to explore your emotions.

I believe through the therapy you will gain a greater awareness of yourself and achieve the change you wish to see.



Practice description

I am based in Sheffield at the Site Gallery to provide you with a warm welcoming feel. I am able to offer counselling face to face, over the phone or via zoom. I will be responsive to your needs and am a reliable person who delivers what would be expected from a professional therapist. I will maintain clear boundaries and be quick and clear with all communication. I appreciate the anxieties  you may feel coming into therapy, but you can assured I will be available for you and to be the support you require to explore your life in more detail. 

I am open, honest and transparent this describes my practice and will be alongside you to achieve change.

My first session

Your first session will be an exploration of your needs and for us to see if we are able to work together. I will be lead by your needs and rest assured, you will lead the conversation  to see how we can best use the time we spend together.

I will ensure clarity by creating a contract to which we will both work to , so there is a clear picture of what we are trying to achieve. 

The first session will set the scene of how we will work together and ensure you feel safe, accepted and able to explore your emotions.
