About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
With over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals identify and process the patterns that often undermine their wellbeing—manifesting as anxiety, depression, or other physical and mental health challenges. My approach is tailored, recognizing that each person's story is unique and deserving of close, compassionate attention. Within every narrative lie the clues to healing and personal growth.
There’s no "one-size-fits-all" solution in therapy. While it’s crucial to have our stories heard and our perspectives validated, it’s equally important to disentangle ourselves from the negative cycles that keep us stuck. That’s why I work actively with both the conscious and subconscious aspects of my clients’ lives. So often, it’s the unconscious patterns—those moments when we ask ourselves, "Why does this always happen to me?"—that need our attention the most.
As Carl Jung wisely said, “Until we make the unconscious conscious, it will direct our lives, and we will call it fate.”
Practice description
My Approach
Psychotherapy can be one of the most rewarding journeys you will ever embark on. I’m here to guide you through this process, helping you reconnect with your true self and move toward a brighter future. In our work together, we’ll explore deep-rooted habits, traumas, and thought patterns, using a range of therapeutic tools to help you break free from limiting narratives.
Qualifications
As a member of the BACP, I adhere to their Codes of Conduct and Ethical Framework, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for my clients.
I have a BSc(Hons) and hold a Post-Graduate Professional Qualification in Transpersonal Psychotherapy (1993 - 1997) which is grounded in Person-Centered and Jungian psychology, alongside a range of other classic therapeutic models.
This eclectic approach allows me to customize my practice to each individual’s needs.
To deepen my work, I also qualified to an Advanced and Trainer level in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or 'Tapping') and Matrix Reimprinting. These methods work deeply and powerfully to reframe outdated patterns of thinking, moving clients from chronic stress into a more resourceful state of mind and body in a very short space of time. I teach my clients how to use these practices themselves so that moving forwards, they can manage their own stress, anxiety or low moods when they need to.
Supporting Students
For the past decade, I’ve been the Lead Counselor at a London University, supporting hundreds of students through the mental health challenges that often arise from academic stress, social isolation, and life transitions. If you are a student, or a concerned parent, I am here to provide the support you need.
I offer a concessionary rate for students in Higher Education.

My first session
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, whether you’ve seen a therapist before or this is your first time. To help ease any concerns and ensure you feel comfortable, I offer new clients a free, no-obligation, 30-minute 'Affinity Call'—typically held on Zoom.
During this call, we’ll have the opportunity to meet and talk about what you’re seeking at this time. You can ask any questions you have and get a feel for my approach to therapy, allowing you to decide if you see us as we a good fit.
There’s absolutely no pressure—this isn’t a sales call. You can take your time to decide if you’d like to move forward with a series of sessions, which are generally held weekly and primarily online.
I’d love the chance to connect with you.
To schedule your free call, just email me at: corah.talk@gmail.com.
Following sessions focus predominately on identifying the areas in your life that are causing you pain, stress, inertia or whatever it is that you are struggling with that brought you to seek out therapy.
We will work together to uncover the blocks or perhaps unprocessed traumas or limiting beliefs that may be holding you back. Using a series of techniques we can approach these blocks with compassionate enquiry and gently release and reframe old patterns that may even have been outside of your conscious awareness.
Switching from a Survival mindset to a Resourceful, Growth mindset, literally changes how you see the world and your place in it. Therapy can give you the tools to lead a happier and more fulfilled life, free of so many burdens and unhealed wounds that may have previously kept you in the dark or in fear.
Why not book in an 'Affinity Call', I would love to see how I may be of help to you at this time.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
