Availability

I split my time between running my private practice a few days a week and working with the NHS on other days. I'm happy to discuss evening availability based on your individual needs. Currently, I have no availability for in-person sessions, but I do have limited slots for online sessions.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m a warm, compassionate and caring therapist dedicated to supporting clients on their therapeutic journey. I work with you to achieve your goals or create a safe, gentle space to help process past experiences that may still be affecting your current situation, self-esteem, mood, or anxiety cycles. My approach combines interventions from the CBT model with other psychological techniques, aimed at alleviating suffering, promoting emotional freedom, and enhancing your quality of life.

I specialise in the CBT-focused trauma model, as well as techniques like Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), to support those who have experienced traumatic events, such as accidents or injuries, or who have faced complex childhood trauma.

With extensive experience in working with OCD, ROCD, various anxiety disorders—particularly depersonalisation, derealisation, generalised anxiety disorder, and panic attack management—I also have a strong focus on the physical manifestations of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Additionally, I support clients with ADHD and functional issues related to trauma. My NHS work also has a strong focus on working with chronic health issue such as Long COVID, Chronic Fatigue and Pain and crossovers with issues such as ADHD.

Practice description

I am an accredited therapist with reflects my 14 years of experience in practice. My primary approach is based on CBT interventions, though I also incorporate techniques from other relevant models, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I work part-time for the NHS and part-time in private practice, staying current with regular training through both roles.

During our initial contact, I always ensure we explore whether I am the right therapist to support you with your specific challenges. I offer flexible therapy frequencies depending on your availability and preferred pace. I am also registered with most major insurance providers.

I work with a wide range of clients and am passionate about understanding each individual's unique experiences, shaped by a variety of circumstances and backgrounds.

For those under 18, I am able to offer support on a case-by-case basis in areas such as the physical manifestations of anxiety, functional issues, derealisation, and chronic health management.

My first session

My first session lasts 70 minutes, allowing us ample time to explore your challenges in depth, for you to get to know me and feel comfortable, and to address any specific questions you may have about the therapy process.

Before the session, we can have a phone call or exchange emails to discuss how I can assist you and ensure that I’m the right fit to support you on your therapeutic journey.
