About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited member of BACP and adhere to their code of conduct. I hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and diploma in clinical supervision of individuals and groups.
In addition to my private practice, I currently work with the NHS and charity sector. I also offer group and individual supervision to students in training and qualified counsellors. I work from an integrative approach which means I draw on a range of different approaches including psychodynamic model to inform my work.
I am experienced in working with those who have suffered childhood traumatic events. I have significant experience in working with people who have suffered gender base violence including coercive control and sexual assaults. Consequently I work in a trauma informed approach. Additionally, I have over 10 years experience with clients who have faced bereavement and loss, (especially those you have experienced a complex grief reaction following a traumatic death).
Practice description
I will facilitate and help you with self-reflection and awareness to work through emotional problems. I aim to also help you come to a place of self-acceptance and growth. My intention is through this process, you will cope better in times of crisis and be better at dealing with internal conflicts and improve your relationships.
I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and concerns.
