Counselling sessions are 50-minutes long and I see most clients weekly. My working week is from Monday to Thursday 11am – 7pm and sessions are online video therapy. Sessions cost £45 each, although I can offer a concession for student counsellors.
About me and my therapy practice
Your emotional and psychological wellbeing is not a luxury. Just like physical health, it deserves attention, because good emotional health is the basis for a fulfilling life. Difficult emotions, anxiety and low mood can disrupt all parts of your life, but things can change for the better and you don’t have to face them alone.
I have 15 years of experience as a counsellor after retraining in my 30s. I have worked in both private practice and the NHS in the UK. I use an integrative model of therapy, drawing on different modalities that are relevant and helpful to everyone.
Practice description
In my experience, I have found that the things that influence our behaviour and relationships are not always conscious motivations and can often be based in trauma, past experiences or unhelpful beliefs, either about ourselves or the environment around us.
I promise to offer you understanding, honesty and a safe space free of judgement. I provide a supportive and nurturing setting that enables you to explore problems. We work together to bring more clarity and understanding to the issues you face. The aim is to build lasting wellbeing, where you can feel stronger and better able to live the life you want.
