Counselling can be powerful and moving and it can be life changing. It is however a process that is as effective as you are willing to let it be. My role is to act as a guide and help facilitate the process of your own self-discovery. Our first session together will be about us getting an understanding of what you are looking to achieve from counselling. After this, the following sessions will be largely guided by what you bring to sessions each week. Some important features of this might be us looking at how your past might be impacting on the present and then working together on what you want your life to be like. This would then lead on to exploring how you might develop a sense of purpose to create a more meaningful life in the future.

About me and my therapy practice
I take a collaborative and intuitive approach to my work with clients and so within my supervision practice I look to work much in the same way. I believe that it is important to encourage supervisees to develop their own authentic practice whilst maintaining the boundaries necessary for safe therapeutic work.
Practice description
I have worked as a psychosynthesis therapist since 2012, mostly within my own private practice. Together with my clients, I have been exploring areas such as:
• multi-heritage and cultural identity
• domestic abuse
• career development goals
• pregnancy issues
• abuse and childhood trauma
• self-esteem
• body concerns
• somatic body issues
• relationship concerns.
Having completed my training in Counselling Supervision in 2021, which meets the training standards of the BACP and adheres to the BACP ethical framework of supervision, I have been working as a supervisor to qualified and trainee counsellors.
My supervision training offered an integrative model of training which means I am open to working with different modalities and my core therapy practice and training is that of a psychosynthesis and transpersonal model and so this is something that I will also draw on in our work together.
I am also a qualified YTT 200 hour yoga teacher and member of BAATN (Black, African and Asian therapist network).
Availability for weekly, fortnightly supervision sessions of 50 minutes or monthly for 90 minutes. I can support online as well as face to face therapists.
I offer online supervision sessions with some face to face work possible in the Paddington area of London.

My first session
After initial contact I am happy to arrange a 30 minute no charge initial online video call to see if we are good fit. If we decide to meet for an initial session, our first session will allow us to explore your requirements, modalities and hopes for supervision, we can also begin the process of contracting depending on our mutual supervisory requirements. If we agree to work together, we can discuss a suitable time and whether online or face to face sessions are best for you.
