About me and my therapy practice
I qualified as a person-centred counsellor in 2011 and I am an accredited member of the BACP. I am also a qualified supervisor.
Supervision is an essential part of our work so I offer a safe space for you to talk openly about your client work, how it affects you and your responses and any difficulties you may be having. Together, we can work through any issues and think about what you can do moving forward, to help you develop as a practitioner.
Practice description
My primary modality is Person-centred, but I incorporate an integrative approach to include more creative ways of working. I work in a flexible way to include your own modality and what you would hope to gain from a supervisory relationship. It is hoped you would bring your whole self as a supervisee, what is going on for you can impact your work, so it is an important part of processing.
I will endeavour to nurture trust and collaboration whilst offering support and appropriate challenge to promote development. As a supervisor I aim to facilitate monitoring and regular reviews of the supervision process to promote exploration in a safe and respectful environment.
