About me and my therapy practice
Do you sometimes feel anxious or depressed? Do you feel angry, frustrated, despairing, lost or alone? Does the way you feel about yourself, the world and other people, affect your confidence, your relationships and the way you live your life? Perhaps you feel isolated by the painful losses, trauma or abuse that you’ve experienced.
Counselling can help you find meaning to the way things are and explore ideas around what or who you feel you can or can’t be. It is an opportunity to talk openly with a trained professional who is not connected to anyone you know in a reliable, confidential and safe environment. Without judgement, I can help you reach an understanding of yourself and your life by making links to past experiences, and by us working together for you to find more satisfying ways of being.
I am an experienced and professional counsellor working with adults and young people, providing a confidential, high quality service in the Hitchin and Letchworth area. I am a registered member of the BACP and trained at the University of Hertfordshire to Masters degree level. I am a staff counsellor at a local counselling service and also work in private practice. I work daytimes, evening and weekends and have reduced rates available.
