About me and my therapy practice
"Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change."Jim Rohn
Have you got that niggling feeling that things aren't right? You don't feel happy or you feel stuck in negative behavioural patterns? Or it could be painful unresolved issues from your past, or daily life issues like anxiety that are affecting you in the here and now. Therapy is a great place to start. Through a collaborative process I can work with you to identify what might be holding you back or keeping you stuck and giving you the support you need to move forward. I work integratively which means I use different styles of therapy but tailor it to suit you as every client is an individual and has different needs.
Relationship in trouble? Couples therapy can be invaluable for providing a safe space to work through all the issues that arise between you. In my experience many couples simply lose the ability to communicate effectively and get themselves heard. I can work with you to help get you towards having a healthy relationship. I find that sometimes just a few sessions can be really effective, but of course I offer long term work and support if it is required.
I have gained experience by working in an NHS environment and privately with issues ranging from:
*Anxiety
*Depression
*Eating Disorders
*Family issues and couples work
*Bereavement
*Lack of self confidence and low sense of worth and self esteem.
I strive to create a relaxed informal confidential safe space. I run my Private Practice in Brixton, and work at The Awareness Centre in Clapham.
I also offer walking therapy as an alternative.
Practice description
My practice is very much client focussed. As I work integratively that means that I am qualified to work with a variety of different types of therapy. I am also CBT qualified, there are a lot of evidence to support that this is the most effective way of treating anxiety disorders.
I also offer walking therapy which is a great compromise for clients not comfortable with being inside.
My first session
The first session will be finding out what has brought you to therapy and why now? This is a good opportunity for us to get to know each other and me to gain an understanding more of what you are looking for. I am then able to recommend a way of working with you that I feel is most appropriate.
It is important to mention that there is no obligation to continue with the therapy at this point. I encourage clients to take some time to consider if I am offering the right process for them.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I have been running a successful private practice for 10 years now. My areas of speciality are: Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Eating Disorders and Couples therapy. I run my supervision practice alongside.
Before I trained to become a therapist I had a varied background. This includes working in the charity sector, photography, catering, NHS and corporate.
Working in different industries has given me a great deal of experience outside of the mental health world, which can be a helpful perspective.
Practice description
Why not call me for a free 15 minute consultation and we can establish what you are looking for in a supervisor and how I can be of help.
I think the relationship between supervisor and supervisee is really important. My style lends itself to creating that therapeutic relationship. I find humour can be a helpful component also!
I am based in Clapham but increasingly work more online, so if you are looking for online then location is not an issue.
My first session
I suggest that we have a trial session to begin with, this will help us get to know each other and I can establish what your needs as a practitioner are.
Depending on what model you are working with we can tailor the supervision accordingly. Happy to have a call with you to discuss further.
