About me and my therapy practice
Are you suffering from anxiety, depression, low self esteem or feeling sad? I work online or in person, to help you manage your emotions and feel better about yourself. Email or call to book an initial FREE session.
Hi, a warm welcome to my page, my name is Keren. I spent the first chapter of my life growing up and working in New Zealand. I trust you will find me easy to relate to, as I am down to earth and a good listener. I offer counselling sessions face-to-face in Chelmsford and online via a secure platform, such as: Zoom.
As an integrative therapist, I work creatively and tailor therapy to meet your individual needs. The space I offer is confidential, with sessions taking place in a warm and inviting setting. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and work in a supportive and non-discriminatory way.
I am a BACP accredited therapist with over ten years experience counselling adults, young people and children dealing with past and present issues, such as: anxiety, bereavement, depression, feeling sad, low self esteem, loss, trauma and relationship issues.
Practice description
Building a trusting relationship is central to our work together, as this helps you open up about anything concerning you. I listen without judgement and ask relevant questions, to help you share your thoughts, feelings and experiences with ease. It is important that you feel heard and understood. We think about your feelings together and sometimes make links to past experiences. This helps you understand and manage your emotions better. We consider how your self-esteem and relationships are affected, so you can make positive changes to improve your confidence, relationships and quality of life.

About me and my therapy practice
Working together
I offer a safe space to help you reflect on your work with clients, including work with children and young people. I aim to develop a collaborative working relationship with you, so you feel safe enough to openly explore any thoughts, feelings and experiences about your work, without judgement. In supervision we explore your client work together to help us understand your clients better and improve your work with them. This includes exploring any issues arising from sessions, celebrating progress and success, discussing any difficulties, blindspots or ethical dilemmas, increasing your self-awareness and resilience, and thinking about ways to facilitate positive changes in your clients and improve their wellbeing.
How I Work
I provide purposeful supervision to counsellors, teachers and those in helping professions. My relational, integrative and creative approach to supervision enables flexibility in my thinking, helping me adapt to individual learning styles and different therapeutic orientations. I have the fullest commitment to offering a service which is welcoming to all backgrounds in a supportive and non-discriminatory manner. My integrative approach to counselling underpins my supervisory practice. This includes person centred values, alongside relational and systemic thinking. I work within the guidelines of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework and negotiate a working contract before embarking on our journey together.
