About me and my therapy practice
As a Counsellor and Therapist I can offer a range of creative techniques to help tell and understand your story. I currently work face to face as well as via Zoom and the telephone.
Sometimes being counselled can feel a daunting process. Working in creative ways can ease matters, helping to explore issues that sometimes are difficult to express.
I work person centred and trained as an integrative counsellor at Manchester University and then as a Dramatherapist at Derby University. I have supported various vulnerable adults and younger people for nearly 30 years.
I would support you to find your way through your difficulties.

About me and my therapy practice
I completed a Person-Centred Creative Supervisors course with Jenny Biancardi in July 2021. For me, the course underlined the importance of working person centred while bringing all aspects of me and my experience to our professional relationship.
I can work online or face to face often bringing an aspect of creativity to our work together
Practice description
As a Supervisor I will foucus upon your client work but am open to hearing about elements of your personal or work life, that might effect you working with your clients.
I will bring all elements of myself to our relationship, including my wide range of work experiences and qualifications. I will also remember bring me and my sence of humour.
I have worked in various roles for over 25 years for my local council and Mental Health NHS Trust, working with a variety of vulnerable adults within Physical Disabilities and Mental Health. I also worked within the youth service including people with Learning Difficulties.
As well as training as a counsellor at a Counselling Psychology course at Manchester University, I went onto completing a Dramatherapy MA at Derby University.
I find myself being drawn back to the importance of the quality of the relationship as a Counsellor/Therapist or Supervisor. Creating the conditions where anything can be discussed. I find also that using creative methods can usually help reach a clearer and sometimes deeper understanding of our practice.
