About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered, Person-Centred Counsellor with over 10 years experience working with adults of all ages. My aim is to build a collaborative non-judgemental relationship with you. This relational approach provides safety and understanding as you explore any changes you choose to make towards knowing yourself more fully and living more authentically.
My training and experience have shown me that anyone, struggling with difficult thoughts and feelings, can find acceptance and self-knowledge if they are met with empathy and without judgement. I believe that we are all capable of growth and change. Counselling can offer a safe space to explore yourself and your life. I see it as my role to be with you in that space.
Practice description
After qualifying as a Counsellor, I worked for 5 years in a Secondary School providing the counselling service to students from Y7 to Y13 (ages 11 to 18).
Also, I have worked for the last 8 years for a national Cancer charity in partnership with a private health service, providing short-term Counselling to Cancer patients.
I have extensive experience and training in working with clients who have experienced grief, loss or trauma in their lives as children and/or as adults.
Inclusivity, diversity and creativity are embedded into my approach.
Person-centred counselling can be short-term or long-term, depending on your needs. Sessions are available in person at my private practice in High Wycombe or online and via telephone for your convenience.
My first session
I offer a free initial Zoom or telephone meeting for up to 30 minutes.
Before this meeting, I will send you a copy of my working agreement and privacy policy.
This initial meeting gives us an opportunity to explore what issues you are facing - you can share whatever you feel it is useful for me to know about you, and I can explain more fully how counselling works and answer any questions you may have.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer individual Person-Centred supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors, either in person at my private practice in High Wycombe or online via Zoom.
As your supervisor, I aim to co-create a safe environment where you can explore your client work and any professional issues you may be facing, helping you develop greater awareness of yourself within the Counselling relationship and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Part of my role as supervisor is to offer guidance on adhering to professional codes of conduct, confidentiality, and best practice, ensuring your work aligns with ethical standards. I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with their ethical standards.
If you are a qualified counsellor or trainee currently searching for counselling supervision, and want to arrange a free initial meeting of up to 30 mins to explore what your supervision needs are and whether we might be a good fit, call/message me
Practice description
Since qualifying as a Supervisor, I have worked with 2 local adult and young people’s community Counselling services in Maidenhead and Bracknell as a group and individual supervisor.
These are both training placements for student counsellors, so I have acquired extensive experience in helping students develop towards robust, ethical and effective practice.
Many of my students have also continued to work with me as their personal supervisor as they have qualified and progressed into private practice or employed roles.
