I am currently working with people Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the morning, afternoon and early evening. I do have early evening slots on a Wednesday and Thursday but they are booked out quite regularly.

About me and my therapy practice
I have over 25 years experience of working as a qualified counsellor in the NHS with adults and adolescents with emotional and mental health difficulties. I have offered both short and longer term therapy and helped a lot of people who have presented with a diverse and complex range of difficulties; everything from mild anxiety and depression low self esteem lack of confidence to eating disorders, OCD, intrusive thoughts, childhood trauma self harming and suicidal ideation.
When people are experiencing any form of emotional difficulty and however this manifests in their life, once they make a decision to get help they are already halfway to making positive changes in their life.
I provide a safe thoughtful and supportive space within which to explore your difficulties. People often know what they want to change and how they want to feel and just need a helpful safe and thoughtful person to help them on their way.
The relationship you have with your counsellor is probably the best indicator of how effective the therapy is going to be, don’t be afraid to shop around and find the right person with the right skills and experience for you.
One thing I have learned and practice all the time is to be more present in my life. Therapy can help you to be more present in the moment, and with compassion to be with and explore fully your thoughts and feelings, to gain more insight, to heal past hurt, to notice negative patterns of thinking, to let go of judgement, and feel more confident and free to move forward in a positive way in your life.
Practice description
I can offer regular video or voice calls at times and days to suit you; to explore with you your current difficulties and reasons for coming to therapy. My hope is that you leave feeling supported and with the skills and insight to continue your journey feeling more positive and empowered in your life.
Whether you are experiencing significant emotional difficulties or looking to gain greater self awareness, insight and presence in your day to day life therapy can support you on your journey.
My first session
The initial appointment will last 60 minutes and subsequent appointments will last 50 minutes.
The first appointment will give us the chance to meet online and see if we think meeting together may be helpful to you. If not I will be happy to suggest what other help and support may be more more appropriate for you at this time.
