About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered member of BACP and a member of the British Psychological Society. My qualifications include the Diploma in Counselling and a Psychology-based Honours Degree. I am also a qualified Life Coach. Prior to starting my private practice I spent many years as a volunteer Cruse counsellor and have extensive experience in bereavement issues and coping strategies and have used these skills to help a wide variety of clients of all ages, including children. In addition I have wide experience in the area of stress management, anxiety, self-esteem and depression. I use a comprehensive range of counselling approaches in my work and select the most appropriate for each individual client.
Practice description
My practice is home-based. There is ample parking and a private entrance to my comfortable counselling room.
I have various books which can be lent to clients if appropriate and assorted materials available for work with children.
My first session
My first session is designed to identify what has brought you to therapy and what you want to achieve from it.
