About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP Registered counsellor, psychotherapist, EMCC qualified professional coach and clinical supervisor with a wealth of experience within education environments, community outreach, the corporate sector and not for profit organisations. I offer tailored support to promote robust emotional wellbeing through self-awareness, personal growth and healthy interpersonal relationships. I have worked extensively with loss and grief and am aware of how many of our patterns of relating come from the losses we have faced in life. I help to recognise these losses to inform future growth.

I specialise in children, adolescents and adults as well as working with parents to offer support and understanding around their children's mental wellbeing as well as the complex dynamics of being parents.

For young adults, I offer a space to explore what a future and moving forward may look like. For young people, visualising a future can be extremely difficult when the only frame of reference they have is from their past experiences.

Beyond counselling, as well as through a blended approach as a Professional Coach I offer therapeutic coaching to those seeking proactive strategies for personal development, life transitions or parenting.

My aim is to offer guidance to all of my clients to cultivate resilience, to unlock potential and to achieve meaningful goals.

Whether you are a young person struggling with stress, expectation and uncertainty, a parent seeking support , or an adult navigating life's complexities - I can offer a relational approach to accompany you on your journey towards healing, empowerment and transformation. Making contact with me today can help you to take the first step towards a brighter tomorrow.

Practice description

Recognising the significant investment financial, emotion and time, that therapy requires, I offer a flexible, confidential and outcomes focused space to meet your change in needs. I'm authentic and adaptable to help each client receive the therapy that produce the best individual outcomes.

I aim to be present and transparent about the process and how I work within the relationship, involving you at every step of the process. I demystify the therapeutic process in order to empower you to be as informed as possible but also to have ownership over your focus and outcomes.

My role is to enable you to gain clarity as to what changes you wish to make. We will look at whether they are realistic and whether there might be any obstacles that may hold you back. We will achieve this through continuous review of the work and the therapeutic relationship between us . I hold space for you so you are not alone in your pain.

There is often a mismatch between what you may want to change and how you behave. The aim is to help you to gain insight into these often unconscious processes so you can achieve sustainable change.

By exploring the details of your difficulties, I’ll help you to step back and better appraise your situation allowing you to find more choices in how you do things differently.

While I help clients delve into the detail, I look to obtain this with a seriousness but a lightness of touch.

I work with children, adolescents and adults.

As a seasoned clinical supervisor, I offer mentoring supervision to aspiring, trainee and fully qualified mental health professionals imparting wisdom and guidance honed through my years of practice as a supervisor and clinical lead.
