About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with adults, young people and older children in Private Practice in rural Buckinghamshire.
I specialise in anxiety disorders and working with Neurodivergent young people, supporting clients to manage and improve their lives and move through transitions more easily and positively.
Although my main area of expertise is in working with young people, I also offer counselling to adults, especially those involved in the Education Sector, whether as parents, employees or trainees. Having worked in Education for over a decade, I am aware of the particular stresses involved in this field.
Additionally, as a bereaved parent of an infant with a life- limiting condition, and a trained Befriender for SANDS, I understand this very particular kind of loss and can support both parents and siblings through the grieving process.
Approaching counselling can be daunting and I want to make this process easier. I invite you for a free, no obligation, exploratory session in which you can discover whether I am the right Counsellor for you. Please feel free to enquire via email.
Adolescence is a time of flux and I want to help you navigate what can be a confusing process. Whether you are struggling to manage exam anxiety, wrestling with your self-image, identity or sexuality, whether you are coping with bullying, loss, or relationship difficulties, feeling angry, anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed; through the therapeutic process, I can help you make sense of what you are experiencing and support you in a warm, safe, confidential space, as you work through difficulties at your own pace, and effect positive change. I invite you to get in touch.
My space is on a ground floor with a very low step to navigate and I have available free parking outside. I offer a small number of concessionary appointments of £50 for counselling trainees and undergraduate Uni students. Please feel free to raise this in your initial enquiry.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor, offering both individual and group supervision to therapists, educators and pastoral staff.
I work from my practice in the peaceful, rural setting of Brill and can offer you a warm, safe, non- judgmental space to bring any client work that needs exploring, which we will do collaboratively, in a supportive environment to enhance your client work and develop your confidence both as a therapist, and as an individual.
My approach is collaborative and creative. Into a Person- centred core I integrate experiential knowledge of Transactional Analysis to help you reflect on your client work more deeply and Psychodynamic Theory to illuminate any relationships within.
I have been counselling older children and young people for over a decade, in a variety of settings, including secondary schools, although I have worked with young people and adults in Private Practice. Please look at my website for more detail on my practice, training and experience.
My core Supervision model is the creative and collaborative 'Cyclical Model' (Page&Wosket 2015) into which I integrate the Restorative element of 'The Functional Model' (Inskipp& Proctor 1993) to facilitate disclosure and confidence building and the eyes of 'The Seven Eyed Model' (Hawkins&Shohet 2012).
While our focus will always be on your clients, it will also be on strengthening you, both as a person and as a therapist and thus empowering you in your work. In essence I see my role as ‘to set the stage, to ask the right questions, to lead the supervisee subtly down the path to their discovery.’ (Borders 2009:201).
I invite you to contact me for a free, no obligation, initial session during which we can both assess whether we can form a positive and productive, working relationship.
I look forward to hearing from you and beginning a fruitful ‘learning alliance’. (Page& Wosket 2015:08).
Sessions: £60 p/hr; £90 p/hr+1/2 £120 p/2hrs.
