About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified supervisor (working privately and in the past for the Dartmoor Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I offer input that values and nourishes your professional competence, confidence and integrity, as well as raising issues and checking out potential blind spots. In a self-reflective and good-hearted space we candidly and safely explore issues arising in your work.
My training was integrative but I am particularly influenced by and involved in mindfulness and compassion practices, working at relational depth, core process input through supervision, trauma-informed approaches and theory through client’s presenting issues, as well as movement, immediacy and play through my original training as a drama/movement therapist.
I supervise counsellors, therapists and mentors working with adults, I do not supervise child and adolescent work, or couples counselling.
My first session
The first supervision session is a chance for us both to get a sense of whether it is right to work together.
If we go ahead this first session is charged for. If either of us decides it is not right to proceed there is no charge.
