About me and my therapy practice
My name is Scott Reeve, and I am an accredited and registered Counsellor & Psychotherapist with BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), with over 11 years experience of providing counselling for individuals. I am qualified to MSc level (Masters - Level 7), and have undergone extensive further training in many areas and am committed to ongoing continuing professional development. I have worked in a variety of different settings, seeing a wide range of issues and needs over these years. Counselling gives the opportunity to dedicate time and space to explore personal issues in the hope that this can provide positive change.
Practice description
My counselling practice is Person-Centred, where therapeutic conditions can promote greater self-understanding and self-acceptance. Leading to personal growth and change, and a more 'authentic' way of being. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling. About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified supervisor with over 5 years experience providing supervision, trained to MSc level, BACP registered and accredited. I offer supervision to qualified and student counsellors, and other members in healthcare settings wishing to explore the depth of their client work.
I also tutor on an MSc Counselling & Psychotherapy training course programme via Keele University, and so this also enhances my development and experience as a supervisor.
I offer a co-collaborated space based around creating safety and freedom to reflect, to share any and all aspects of your client work. My supervision is informed by my Person-Centred Counselling practice, and so focuses on deep reflection and exploration to enhance therapeutic practice, and client work. I also base my supervision approach around Hawkins & Shohet's '7-Eyed Model of Supervision, this offers great scope for reflection and learning from a wide ranging perspective of the therapeutic work you undertake.
I believe firmly in both the restoration potential, and well-being of the practitioner in supervision, as well as the chance for deeper learning and growth in practice.
My fee's are £55 for 1 & 1/2 hours or £45 per hour. I offer some concessions to students in training.
I offer both face to face supervision from an office in central Shrewsbury and/or can work online via the Zoom/video calling platform.
