About me and my therapy practice
I follow a Humanistic and Integrative model, with a focus on the relationship. This means that I follow your lead as a client and join you on your journey as you explore your world within the sessions. I believe that it is our experiences that have usually caused our current distress. I draw on various theoretical models in order to assist you in understanding your thoughts and emotions more. I aim to build trust between us and develop the relationship between us so that you feel safe to explore your world alongside me.
I specialise in, and have extensive experience in working with people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and people who wish to understand their gender identity, sexual orientation or relationship style further. I also work with couples/multi person relationships.
I also have a specialist interest in working with issues around body image and disordered eating. I believe that health comes in all different body shapes and sizes. I advocate that it's vitally important that for good mental health that we learn to respect and engage positively with our bodies.
Practice description
I offer a safe and warm welcome to the counselling space, where you can explore what is affecting you and causing any distress you are experiencing. I have 12 years of post qualification experience in working with clients, and supporting people both long and short term. I have worked with a various range of issues in my practice and so I would encourage you to get in touch to see if we could work together.
I also offer relationship counselling and of course there are many different types of relationship. This could include familial relationships, marriages, civil partnerships, couples, romantic relationships with more than two people, non-monogamous relationships, poly-amorous relationships.
My first session
After an initial 15 minute chat you may choose to book an initial session with me where we would meet, online or via telephone. This is a mutual assessment and allows me to determine if I have the right skills and experience to meet your needs and for you to decide if you would like to work with me. At the end of this session we can make a plan for where we would like to go next.

I have immediate availability for supervision work, whether this is adhoc or ongoing. Please get in touch to discuss further.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer supervision space for counsellors, psychotherapists and anyone in the helping professions more broadly. Whether you are a qualified therapist, a trainee, a volunteer, a support worker or any other profession supporting people, you will be offered a peaceful space to open up and explore what you are holding.
Practice description
I have 12 years post qualification experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist and I bring this experience of building relationships and rapport with clients to my supervision work. My aim within supervision is to work with you to explore the areas where you need the most support.
I offer support and challenge and each session and supervision relationship will be tailored according to your needs.
People in the helping professions work incredibly hard to support people where they need it, and I am passionate about offering supervision that provides a holding space for people working in this field.
I work with organisations providing individual and group supervision, as well as private arrangements with therapists and counsellors.
I have a specialist area of experience and knowledge in working with Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity and with clients who identify as LGBTQIA+. I am passionate about diversity and about talking about these areas of difference in supervision.
My first session
In the first supervision session, this is an opportunity for you to get to know me as a supervisor and for me to find out how sueprvision works best for you. You don't even have to have experience of supervision previously, we can figure out together the best way of working.
