I understand that life is busy, and sometimes it’s difficult to find the time or space for therapy. That’s why I offer flexible options—you can choose the method of therapy that works best for you and your family. Whether you prefer to meet in person, via telephone, or through online sessions, I make therapy accessible no matter where you are.

About me and my therapy practice

Are you looking to manage your own mental health, or the wellbeing of your child or family? Life can present many challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. As an experienced Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychotherapist, I offer a unique, bespoke service tailored to meet the individual needs of each person I work with. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your loved ones, I am here to help you navigate life’s difficulties with compassion and professionalism.

With extensive experience in the field of Psychotherapy (there is a difference in the discipline to Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Counselling - please call to discuss ) I am dedicated to delivering a professional, caring, and confidential service to every client. I take the time to understand each individual’s unique circumstances, allowing me to offer a supportive and empathetic approach. My years of practice have honed my ability to adapt to diverse needs, ensuring you or your family member receives the care and attention they deserve.

It’s important to choose the right type of therapy and the right therapist in order to get the most benefit for yourself/family member and your investment so I offer a free telephone or online consultation. This gives us an opportunity to discuss your needs and see how my therapy services can best support you or your loved one.

Practice description

I believe that there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. Every person’s journey is unique, which is why I take an integrative approach. By blending the most up-to-date models and theories in psychotherapy, I craft bespoke treatment plans that are tailored specifically to the individual. This allows me to provide a personalised service that focuses on your specific needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes. Therapy plans and a way forward will be discussed with you so you have structure be it therapy for yourself or a member of your family.

I offer parental support.  As a parent, it can be difficult to know how to support your child or teenager through challenging moments. I specialise in helping parents navigate struggles related to neurodiversity, school difficulties, drugs and alcohol, and more. I work with schools and the Education Board if needed which many therapists do not. My goal is to provide the tools and support that allow you to connect with your child or adolescent and help them build resilience and get through their challenges.

I also offer guidance for teenagers dealing with common challenges like exam stress, friendship issues, and anxiety around preparing for university. You don't have to go through this alone—whether you're a parent or a young person seeking support, I’m here to guide you through it.

If you or someone in your family is struggling with emotional difficulties, I invite you to reach out. Whether it's anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, or any other challenge, I am here to provide support, guidance, and skills to help make life easier to manage.

My first session

Your first session with me is all about creating a safe and welcoming space for you to begin your journey toward improved mental health and wellbeing. I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want to assure you that my approach is non-judgmental, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs.

During the session, we will take the time to get to know each other, and I’ll invite you to share whatever feels comfortable for you. We’ll discuss the challenges you’re facing, your goals for therapy, and any specific areas you’d like to focus on. Together, we’ll start to build a foundation for our work together.

You’ll leave the session with a clear sense of direction and next steps, and I’ll provide you with the tools and resources to begin addressing the issues you’re dealing with.

Your comfort, confidentiality, and progress are my top priorities.
