About me and my therapy practice
Hello
As a therapist, I offer a safe space for you to bring things you are struggling with, and any aspect of yourself you would like to share. Therapy provides an environment to facilitate a better understanding of why you might feel stuck and to think about the familiar patterns that are being repeated and have become less helpful. We will explore together aspects of yourself with a view to gaining insights and understanding, and focus on being less stuck by bringing about internal change and difference to current difficulties.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, based in North London, with many years working in the NHS and voluntary sector with people from different backgrounds and for a range of issues including depression, trauma, relationship issues, loss, anxiety and family difficulties. I am accredited by the BACP and British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and have an interest in health issues, health anxiety and cancer.
I offer brief and open-ended work, this is something we can think about in the first session. You can get in touch to have a telephone conversation or arrange a meeting.
I also offer Couple Therapy, DIT (Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy) and Supervision. In addition, EMDR in training.
Practice description
Psychotherapy provides a safe environment in which to explore past traumas and difficulties in light of current emotional patterns and relationships. I offer usually weekly, sometimes twice weekly, sessions either open-ended work or for an agreed number of sessions. Our first meeting will be a consultation session, we can explore whether you wish to continue to work together.
I work face to face and have some online sessions available.
The fee is £90 per session for individuals, £110 for couples. Reduced fee is available in some circumstances.
Sessions lasts for 50 minutes (individual) 60 minutes (couple). I also offer Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy - a sixteen session model for £100 a session. I am currently training in EMDR and can provide sessions for reduced fee - starting from £60.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer supervision to individuals and groups, where we work together to develop a deeper understanding of your clients in a safe and confidential space. I see supervision is about reflecting on the content, dynamic and process of the work to collaboratively gain understanding of the relationship; and to feel supported as therapist and individual.
My original orientation is psychodynamic/psychoanalytic but through my experience I work with supervisees from different modalities, and I can share a broad perspective in relation to how you work, and your supervision needs.
My supervision experience includes NHS and private practice, and counselling trainees – some experienced and others just starting out in their practice.
Qualifications
I have been working as a therapist for over 12 years and have experience in the NHS, private and the voluntary sector. I have been working at a supervisor in the NHS for qualified and honorary clinicians, and in private practice.
2021 Diploma in Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic Supervision. Society Analytical Psychology
Member of BAPPS (British Association of Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervisors)
Supervision fees are negotiable, depending on regularity and your caseload.
