I'm a certified Advanced Safeguarding Person, Trauma Informed Practitioner, Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), Level 7 therapist in Strategic Approaches to Mental Health and Wellbeing, MHFR (England) Accredited Mental Health First Responder, Critical Incident Responder, and a RELATE Relationships & Family Therapist.
My counselling experience includes working in mental health organisations, schools, colleges, universities, EAP (Employment Assistive Programme). I work in both community independent sector and local authority providing an intermediate psychological care service bridging hospital and home care provision to people with immediate, short-term and long-term mental health needs.
I have extensive experience working with children, young people (CYP), young adults, adults', relationships, and families in a wide range of educational, health and social care settings including providing support, advice, supervision and training for parents, carers, teachers, and other mental health professionals. I work with people aged 6 years, and above with no upper age limit. My aim is to offer a supportive confidential non-judgmental therapeutic relationship to those in distress, or just need someone to talk too.
I maintain professional indemnity insurance, and have been DBS checked
