About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and established Person Centred Counsellor, working with both individuals and couples, qualified in Sex and Relationship Therapy, and trained to offer psychotherapy to Ex-Boarders. I have been in practice as a qualified counsellor, working with individuals since 2000, and with couples since 2011.
I am passionate about helping people to tap back into their own resources to solve problems or makes changes. My approach with individuals is generally non-directive, in that I do not suggest what it is that you should be discussing, but you can expect my active support in the exploration of any issue or issues that confront you. With couples, I tend to offer, where required, a slightly more structured, directed style.
You are free to discuss anything with me that concerns or worries you, whether it is an individual issue or a relationship issue, a work concern, stress or anxiety, a bereavement, or childhood trauma, to name a few. With couples, for example, we can work on improving your communication, your sexual relationship, or on recovery from an affair or betrayal.
I see individuals and couples of all gender and sexual expression.
I offer a respectful, sensitive, honest and empathic approach.
