About me and my therapy practice
I have many years experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist and offer both short term and long term therapy. I have a particular interest in trauma issues and am a trained EMDR practitioner. i have trained as both a humanistic and transpersonal therapist, the latter trainer honouring the spiritual dimension of human existence. For clients who wish it I offer creative opportunites in their therapy too.
Practice description
I work from home. I have a specious office in a quiet village close to Eastbourne and Seaford with easy parking and on a good bus route. I also offer therapy online. I work with a range of issues ranging from relationships, bereavement and loss, depression, workplace problems, abuse and trauma.
My first session
In this first session my aim is to get to know each other and find out if we are able to work together and what has brought a client to counselling and what they hope to get out of it. . Early on I will explain the importance of confidentiality and its ethical limits. I will also discuss fees, contact details, holiday breaks etc in a contract if the client wishes to continue.

About me and my therapy practice
I work as an integrative supervisor, having been trained as a therapist in Humanistic and Transpersonal models. I believe that supervision is a place to explore our therapeutic work reflectively and creatively , let off steam, expand our knowledge, explore ethical dilemmas and share difficulties in a safe, confidential space. i am able to offer a creative activities too, such as sand tray and art work.
I have many years experience as a supervisor and therapist and have facilitated supervision with individuals and groups. I work with both experienced therapists and trainees. i am an accredited supervisor with both BACP and UKCP and am an accredited training supervisor with UKCP. I gained a diploma in Supervision from Cascade in 2000.
Practice description
I work from home in a comfortable room. Easy out of town street parking. Also bus accress from Eastbourne and Seaford.
My first session
in the first session we would explore our training backgrounds and whether we would match. We would also sense how our rapport felt. If we both decided to go ahead we would agree a contract about the levels of confidentiality, payment of fees, cancellation agreements, etc.
