I offer flexible session formats to ensure that counselling fits seamlessly into your life. About me and my therapy practice

If you’ve been considering counselling, I warmly invite you to start a conversation with me. Reach out in the confidence that you’ll be met with a welcoming space and supportive presence to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can work toward a more empowered and fulfilling future. Remember, you don’t need to be in crisis to seek counselling, simply wanting to explore new perspectives is enough.

To meet your needs and comfort, I offer therapy sessions in person at my office, or online via Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime or telephone call.

As a seasoned BACP Accredited Counsellor with 15 years of experience, I have worked in the HMRC Prison Service, NHS Clinic, Secondary Education, Cruse Bereavement Charity, By the Bridge fostering organisation, and with survivors of domestic violence at the Sunflower Centre.

I work in an integrative way, tailoring my approach to suit your individual needs through modalities such as Transactional Analysis and Person-Centred Therapy. My relational approach helps to create a strong therapeutic bond, which I believe is key to effective counselling. I am dedicated to the belief that counselling can be a transformative force in our lives, helping us develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and equipping us with the mechanisms needed to cope and thrive.

In addition to private counselling, I am a registered practitioner for Health Providers, Insurance Companies, and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), with a different fee scale available for these services.

I encourage you to contact me today for a tailored consultation. We can start with a brief conversation or an exchange of emails, followed by an initial assessment session. This will allow us to get to know each other and determine whether the support I offer aligns with your needs. I look forward to hearing from you.

Practice description

I offer adult therapy, providing both short-term and long-term counselling solutions to individuals at every stage of adulthood, from early years through to later life. My practice serves as a private and confidential sanctuary where you can openly discuss any concerns, anxieties, or difficulties that may be causing you distress.

If you're feeling trapped in your circumstances or stuck in a cycle of past experiences or emotions, know that you are not alone. Together, we can work to untangle these threads, helping you navigate through the complexities of life. My role is to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental environment, utilising therapeutic techniques that are designed to foster personal growth and facilitate emotional release.

When you visit my practice, you'll find ample parking space available either on my driveway or on the street outside. My office is designed to be a warm and welcoming space, featuring a comfortable sofa where you can relax and feel at ease.

Once you're settled, we will begin by discussing your expectations and goals for therapy. This initial conversation is crucial as it helps us align our journey together, ensuring that our sessions are tailored specifically to your needs.

My practice is grounded in understanding and respecting your unique experiences and circumstances. Within this safe and supportive environment, you are free to explore your feelings and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can embark on a journey towards self-understanding, healing, and growth, creating a path that leads to a more fulfilling and empowered life.

Embarking on Therapy: Your Journey Begins Here

I understand that stepping into therapy is a significant decision, and it’s natural to feel uncertain about what to expect. To help make this process more comfortable, I offer a complimentary consultation of up to 15 minutes over the phone. During this time, you can share a brief overview of what you’re seeking from therapy and ask any questions you may have. This initial conversation is designed to help you feel more at ease and to ensure that we are a good fit for your therapeutic journey.

Connecting with me is straightforward. You can reach out via email, text message, WhatsApp, or a traditional phone call, whichever method feels most convenient and comfortable for you. I am here to support you and to make the beginning of your therapeutic journey as smooth and reassuring as possible.
