About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor, graduating in 2007. I have practised over four hundred counselling hours. My client work has included working with vulnerable adults, inner-city teenagers, substance abusers, and those coping with recent bereavements.
I have practised in a wide-range of therapeutic environments, including a community-based rehabilitation charity, telephone counselling and a local young person project.
I am an empathetic, caring and joyful individual who has overcome the difficulties of having Asperger's Syndrome to be an active member of my local community and to set up my own businesses.
Practice description
I work in a relaxed and friendly style. I want you to feel at ease as you open up about what you need from counselling.
My first session
The opening session is where you open up about what brings to you to counselling and what you seek for in sessions. The therapeutic process - the start of you resolving your particular problem or need - starts from the moment you start counselling.
