About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
It may be that you have been thinking about therapy for a while. Or, that something has happened recently prompting your enquiry. I am an experienced therapist, in practice since 2009 who is both registered and accredited with the BACP and will work with you in a calm, interactive, honest and professional way.
My approach is to actively listen, try and pick up on and discuss what will be of most use to you with a focus on understanding and working through your situation. I provide a non-judgemental environment in which we can work together openly, honestly and confidentially.
I work from my practice, Archway Therapy in N19, North London where I offer sessions both in person and online.
Following a course in Psychotherapy at The London Centre for Psychotherapy, I gained my postgraduate diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London (accredited by the BACP). With an MA from The University of Edinburgh, I have worked in education and management in the UK and overseas for over 25 years and currently provide counselling to students at University College London - UCL, and professional sports people at The Sporting Chance Clinic alongside private practice.
I work under the BACP guidelines for ethical practice and aim to offer the same standard of service to anybody in society who may wish to contact me. Please feel free to get in touch at any time by phone, text or email to set up a first session in which we can discuss your situation without any further obligation. All communication will be treated in the strictest confidence and I will always aim to respond as quickly as I can. I look forward to hearing from you.
Please do get in touch to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

Face to face sessions are currently available in my Archway practice.
My first session
Upon receiving your enquiry, we will then aim to organise an initial session. This session is £80 and lasts for 50 minutes. During this session we will be able to discuss your situation in more detail and get a sense, for both of us, of how we might like to work together, establishing preferred frequency and length of sessions, including a suitable fee based on your current circumstances ranging from £80 - £120.
I offer some sessions at a lower fee so do please ask if you feel that might be a barrier to starting therapy.
