About me and my therapy practice
I am an ACAT registered and BACP senior accredited psychotherapist and couple counsellor. I work integratively and specialise in relationships, eating disorders, alcohol abuse and addictions. Recently much of my work has been with anxiety and depression often exacerbated by the current pandemic. I worked for over twenty years in the NHS at the Maudsley as a psychotherapist and trained initially as a general nurse. I am recognised by BUPA, PPP AXA and Aviva insurance companies. At present I am working ‘virtually’ which I find works far better than I had expected.

About me and my therapy practice
I work within a contract agreed with my supervisee. The sessions are 50 minutes or longer by agreement.
My private practice is with relationships and individuals using either CAT, CBT or what works best with a particular client or clients. I do not work with children under the age of around 14/15 years old.
Practice description
I have worked as a supervisor for many years both in relationship work and in my work with individuals. I am a CAT psychotherapist and supervisor and work integratively. I have 20 years experience working for the NHS in eating disorders and addictions particularly alcohol.
My first session
My first session as in a first therapy session, is about contracting and finding out if it can be a good and comfortable working relationship.
