About me and my therapy practice
I find it rewarding to work with individuals, both children and adults, who are looking to heal from past traumas. Maybe you're struggling with managing your emotions, having intrusive thoughts, or finding it hard to trust others. If you're open to exploring your feelings in a safe and supportive space, and you value a collaborative approach, we can work together to develop healthy coping skills, build self-esteem, and improve your overall well-being. I believe that incorporating nature-based activities, sensory experiences, and creative expression can be really helpful in the healing process.
I offer a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Experiential Therapy (PCET), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Inner Child work. I'm also passionate about nature and believe in the power of creativity, so I offer nature-based and creative art therapies as options for those who find them beneficial.
Therapy is a space for growth and self-exploration. It can be challenging at times, but with consistent effort and a supportive partnership, we can work towards increased well-being and a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. Interested in learning more?
Practice description
In Birchwood, Warrington, I offer counselling sessions for teenagers, adults, and younger clients who find a traditional counselling room setting beneficial. This location provides a professional and confidential space, designed for focused and in-depth conversations. Although there are no outdoor spaces here, the atmosphere is calm and conducive to exploring complex issues and personal growth.
While this setting is primarily room-based, I believe in integrating creative techniques to enhance the therapeutic process. Where appropriate, I incorporate art materials, therapeutic games, and other creative tools to facilitate self-expression and understanding. This approach is beneficial for all ages, including younger clients who are comfortable in a counselling room environment.
In Birchwood, Warrington, you’ll find a safe and private space where we can work collaboratively to address your specific needs. Whether you're a teenager navigating the challenges of adolescence, an adult seeking support for personal or professional issues, or a younger client who thrives in a structured setting, I am here to provide a supportive and effective counselling experience. I look forward to welcoming you.
