About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Sarah, and I'm here to provide compassionate, inclusive, and non-judgmental support. I understand that when you're not feeling your best, finding the right person to help can feel overwhelming. Well done for taking the first step today—this could be the most important step in your journey to healing and growth.
Building a strong, trusting relationship is at the heart of therapy, which is why I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where you can talk about whatever’s on your mind—including the deep, painful, or hidden parts of yourself. Feeling truly accepted and understood can help you open up, feel gently challenged, and know that our connection remains steady, no matter what you share.
Since everyone’s journey is different, I tailor therapy to suit your unique needs. You are the expert in your own life, and I’ll follow your lead as we explore how your past experiences, including trauma, have shaped your mental, emotional and physical health. Gaining this insight can be incredibly validating, helping you recognise that you’re doing the best you can with what you’re carrying.
As a humanistic, integrative counsellor, I believe that no matter what we've been through, we all have the potential to heal, change, and grow. The road to healing can bring up strong emotions, such as: sadness, anger, shame, fear, grief, and anxiety. These can surface for various reasons, but rest assured that all are emotions and feelings are welcome. I'll be here by your side, providing a safe and supportive environment as you navigate your journey towards peace, healing, purpose, fulfilment and self-discovery.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, isolated or hopeless, please message me. These feelings are temporary, and with support, things can improve.
Practice description
I offer a FREE initial 20 minute telephone consultation to all new clients. This is an informal chat where we'll talk through what's brought you to therapy and how I might be able to support you.
It's important to find the right therapist for you, so this is a chance for you to ask me any questions you might have about me, my practice, and therapy in general.
If we decide to work together, we'll schedule in our first appointment, working around our mutual availability.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, either weekly or bi-weekly. If you require longer sessions, please get in touch with me and we can discuss your needs.
I work online (nationwide) and in-person from Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire.
