About me and my therapy practice
What It’s Like to Work Together
Starting therapy is a big step. If you’re here, you’ve probably been carrying a lot on your own for a while. Maybe you’re tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, or second-guessing every decision. Maybe life just feels a bit… much.
My role is to walk alongside you. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s going on, and reconnect with your own voice.
I’m a person-centred counsellor, which means I don’t tell you what to do or give quick fixes. I believe you are the expert on your own life. I’ll meet you where you are—with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. You don’t have to bring the “right” words. You don’t need a clear plan. We’ll figure it out together.
You might be navigating:
– Anxiety or burnout
– Low self-worth or inner criticism
– Big changes or decision-making
– Late-diagnosed neurodivergence
– Feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected
I work especially well with people who feel like they’re “too much” or “not enough.” You might be used to masking, holding it all together, or being the one everyone leans on. Therapy can be your space to let some of that go.
Sessions are currently held online, so you can show up as you are in your confidential space—whether that’s in your comfiest clothes, with a cup of tea, or in between work and life.
If you're unsure where to start, that’s completely okay. Therapy isn’t about performing or getting it “right.” It's a space to just be—messy bits and all.
Practice description
I work with adults navigating life’s challenges, whether that’s work stress, identity shifts, low self-esteem, or the quiet weight of trying to hold it all together. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or have spent years people-pleasing and masking their needs.
As a neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ therapist myself, I get how exhausting it can be to feel like you have to explain or tone down who you are. You don’t have to do that here.
I offer person-centred counselling, which means no pressure to open up too fast and definitely no quick fixes. Just a space where you can feel heard and supported without judgment. Where you can untangle thoughts, reconnect with yourself, and start to breathe a little easier.
You don’t need a perfectly worded reason for coming to therapy. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be here, and we’ll take it from there.
Clients have described our work as supportive, validating, and a safe space.
Sessions are held online or over the phone, making it convenient to fit into your life.
If you’re looking for therapy that’s affirming, gently held, and shaped by what you need, I’d love to hear from you.
I offer a free 20-minute intro call so we can get a feel for each other. No pressure, just a conversation.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute consultation before any bookings—this is a chance for us to chat, no pressure, and see if we feel like a good fit. It’s also a space for you to ask any questions and get a feel for how I work before deciding if therapy with me is right for you. If it does feel right, I will send over a contract for you to have a look at and sign if you are happy.
If you decide to go ahead, our first full session will be 60 minutes and held online or over the telephone. There’s no expectation to tell your whole story or dive into anything too heavy straight away. You don’t need to come prepared with notes, goals or a plan—just yourself.
We'll begin by exploring what’s bringing you to therapy and what you'd like support with, but we’ll go at your pace.
You’ll also have a chance to hear more about how I work and ask anything you're unsure about. I’ll explain my confidentiality policy and any practical bits like booking, cancellations and session boundaries—but we’ll keep it all as relaxed and easy to understand as possible.
There’s no formal assessment to complete in advance, though I will ask for some basic contact details and emergency information (just in case).
Most people feel a bit nervous before their first session—that’s really common. You don’t need to “perform” or say the "right" things. It’s a space where you can be real, even if that means unsure, quiet, or tearful.
My aim is always to create a calm, supportive space where you can feel safe enough to explore whatever’s going on for you.
And because I believe therapy should be accessible, I offer a sliding scale for those who might find the full fee a barrier. Life isn’t always financially steady, and I want to acknowledge that. If this is something you’d like to talk about, just drop me a message and we’ll work something out that feels manageable for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Looking for counselling that actually feels human? You’re in the right place.
I’m a person-centred counsellor offering online therapy for adults.
I believe that you are the expert on your own life — my role is to walk alongside you, offering a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever’s coming up for you.
Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, big life changes, or just figuring out who you are in a very noisy world, our work will move at your pace. There’s no “right” way to do therapy here. I’ll meet you exactly where you are — whether you need a space to talk things through, tools to manage overwhelm, or a chance to reconnect with yourself without pressure.
My approach is relaxed, collaborative, and flexible. We might laugh, we might sit with some tough stuff, we might untangle the noise — but it’s always rooted in compassion and authenticity.
I have lived experience of neurodivergence and being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, so you won’t need to explain or justify parts of your identity here. You’ll be seen and supported exactly as you are.
All sessions are held online, meaning you can access therapy from wherever you feel safest as long as it is confidential.
I’m here to help you feel a little more like yourself again.
Practice description
My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel approachable, human, and flexible — not clinical or intimidating. You won’t find judgement here. You’ll find real conversations, genuine connection, and a space where you can bring whatever’s on your mind.
Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you. Some sessions might feel like sorting through the chaos with a bit of structure; others might just be about sitting with whatever you’re carrying that day. Both are valid. Both are welcome. Whether you need to unpack anxiety, explore your identity, navigate burnout, or simply have a space to be heard without expectations, I’ll meet you where you are.
I get how important it is to be seen and understood without needing to explain or educate. My work is affirming, inclusive, and centred around your lived experience.
Sessions are held remotely via secure online platforms or over the phone, whichever suits you best.
I also believe therapy should be accessible, which is why I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments, as well as a sliding scale for fees where needed.
This is your space to slow down, untangle your thoughts, build confidence, and reconnect with yourself — without judgement, without pressure, and without needing to have it all figured out.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for you.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work, ask any questions, and decide if it feels like a good fit — no pressure, no obligation.
In our first full session, we’ll move at your pace. It’s a space for you to share what’s brought you here (if you want to) and for us to start building a foundation of trust. There’s no need to prepare anything or know exactly what you want to work on. Some people come with a clear goal, others just know they need support — either is completely okay.
We’ll also go over a few practical things like confidentiality, session structure, and how we’ll work together. I don’t use formal assessments in the first session — it’s more about meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe and supportive from the start.
Sessions are online, meaning you can join from wherever feels most comfortable for you, as long as it’s a private and confidential space.
If you have any worries or questions before or after the first session, you’re always welcome to reach out — this process is yours, and I’m here to support you in whatever way feels right.
