About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I am Jess, a trained psychotherapist and BACP-registered counsellor. I work with individuals on both a short-term and long-term basis. Whether you have a specific issue you would like to explore, are dealing with something longer-term that is becoming difficult to manage, or wish to understand yourself more deeply, psychotherapy can be a valuable resource.
I specialise in helping clients better understand themselves and their identities. This includes addressing historical events that may be holding you back, feelings of not fitting in with family or social groups and struggles within relationships.
Understanding and accepting my ADHD, and other NDs, made me passionate about helping others work towards positive self-acceptance.
It's common to worry that your concerns might not be suitable for therapy, but no problem is too small, too large, or too insignificant. Counselling provides a caring, non-judgmental, and confidential environment for you to discuss anything on your mind. I am here to listen and help you explore your emotions, thoughts, and actions,
Practice description
As a therapist, I specialise in working with clients toward self-acceptance by building a positive sense of self and gaining clarity on how they want to relate to the world. I will be alongside you, helping to build a positive and affirming way of being yourself.
Understanding and accepting my ADHD, and other Neurodivergence, made me passionate about helping others work towards positive self-acceptance.

My first session
A free 15-minute Zoom or telephone call, before we begin, gives us a chance to meet, discuss what you would like to get from therapy, and address any questions either of us might have.
